Changing times

A few years ago my new construction work kept me so busy I did very little work for individual homeowners. While it is definitely easier to work in an empty room, there are more personal rewards transforming someones room just for them. Now that I'm not so busy doing the same finish over and over I get the chance to slow down and really be creative.

I'm lucky to have great friends and great clients. It's such a great feeling when at the end of the day a homeowner comes in and ohhhs and ahhhs over their new finish. That's what keeps me going. I love that feeling of making someones house feel more like home.

Sure I do hope that building will pick up again in the future and wouldn't mind being a bit busy.... But for now I'll enjoy working with clients that want something special in their home.

website is finished!

My new website is up and running http://okcfaux.com/. Now we will see if I can figure out how to add pictures without messing every thing up. I'm still pestering my web guy http://thriftywebdesigns.com/ to fix things that I can't. Someone should have warned him about me.

I'm taking some of my pictures off this blog, maybe it'll help it to load faster, if you don't find something you were looking for check my website.

If you haven't seen my latest ventures check it out, I'm doing faux wood grain doors and have posted a few pictures in the "off the wall" photo album.

Feel free to leave me a comment.
